ABOUT REFLO

Reflo have burst onto the apparel scene to bridge the gap between sustainable clothing and high-performance premium sportswear. Our goals are monumental and go beyond selling a lot of gear - we aim to plant 1 million trees and recycle over 5 million plastic bottles in our first 5 years. That is something we can all be proud of. We are a start-up that has achieved great things in a very short existence; including signing multi-year international collaborations and bringing onboard Harry Kane as our first global ambassador and investor. We celebrate our vibrant work culture and boast that our external partners are treated well, therefore our internal environment should echo that. We have created awesome initiatives to ensure our team loves working here, including birthday leave and gym memberships. Plus, don’t miss out on asking about “The Dream Machine”!

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Product Assistant supports the Product Team across the full product range, helping to deliver high quality, high performing product from initial brief through to final sign off. This is an entry level role and an excellent first step into product development. Working closely with the Product Director, Product Manager, Product Developers and Designers, the Product Assistant keeps the development process running smoothly. There is a particular focus on PLM and product data, on managing test reports and compliance, and on supporting our supplier relationships. It is a hands on, organisational role, that gives broad exposure to how product is made - from materials and fit through to testing and production. We are looking for someone organised, curious and genuinely interested in product. Experience matters less than attitude, attention to detail and a willingness to learn.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • PLM and Data Management
    • Update and maintain the PLM system, ensuring product data is accurate, complete and entered on time.
    • Maintain the material, trim, colour and supplier libraries within PLM, logging new entries and keeping the data clean and easy to find.
    • Support the use of PLM across the team and help keep ways of working consistent.
    • Maintain accurate records across styles, seasons and ranges.
  • Testing, Compliance and Certification
    • Manage and organise test reports, tracking submissions and results and keeping records up to date.
    • Coordinate testing with our partners and chase outstanding results.
    • Help research testing requirements and communicate these to the wider team.
    • Maintain compliance and certification records, including restricted substances and country specific requirements.
    • Flag test failures or compliance risks to the wider team.
  • Supplier Support
    • Support the onboarding of new suppliers, gathering and maintaining the documentation and data required.
    • Help keep supplier records and information accurate and up to date.
    • Work alongside suppliers to support smooth product development.
  • Product Development and Approvals
    • Assist with trim development, sample approvals and pre-production reviews.
    • Support sourcing of fabrics, trims and components that meet performance and durability requirements.
    • Help track and review lab dips and bulk fabrics, escalating issues where needed.
    • Assist in ensuring fit, comfort and performance standards are met.
  • Technical Documentation
    • Support the creation and updating of tech packs, bills of materials and size specs.
    • Ensure records and data are maintained accurately and kept current.
  • Product Tracking and Timelines
    • Maintain product trackers to monitor key development stages.
    • Assist in monitoring timelines and flagging risks to the wider team.
  • Design and Team Liaison
    • Support communication between the design team and product development, ensuring updates are captured and tracked.
    • Assist in interpreting briefs into technically feasible products.
    • Help prepare information and samples for meetings and presentations.
    • Provide general support with meetings, minutes and updates.
  • Sustainability, Sport and Market Research
    • Contribute ideas for sustainable material use and processes.
    • Research and build an understanding of sports, regulations and limitations.
    • Stay informed of trends in sports apparel and share relevant insights with the team.
  • Fit Sample Support
    • Support the product team by creating and maintaining accurate fit sample comments based on customer feedback and product knowledge.
    • Curate fit insights, identify sizing trends, and ensure all fit guidance is clear, consistent, and helps customers make confident purchasing decisions.
  • General Support
    • Assist in coordinating with internal teams to ensure product alignment.
    • Support the wider team with ad hoc tasks and projects.
