The company has an opportunity for an experienced Warehouse Operative to join our Newcastle site.

Shift Pattern

  • Mon-Fri 7am-3pm & 10am – 6pm
  • Description

As a Warehouse Operative, you would handle the goods and products in the warehouse.

It would be your job to keep them safe and make sure they are delivered to customers on time.

Picking and packing products as well as working as part of a team to hit timed deadlines.

This role can be physically demanding.

  • Roles and Responsibilities
  • Receiving, unloading, and sorting incoming deliveries.
  • Checking received goods against purchase orders and ensuring accuracy.
  • Storing goods in designated locations within the warehouse.
  • Picking, packingordersand dispatching orders accurately and efficiently.
  • Preparing orders for dispatch, including labelling and palletizing.
  • Operating warehouse equipment such as motorized pallet stacker and manual pallet truck safely and efficiently (Training will be provided).
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in the warehouse. Assistingwith inventory counts and stocktaking as required.
  • Always adhering to health and safety regulations.
  • Required Skills & Experience
  • A driver’s license is necessary due to having to do some local deliveries
  • Previousexperience in a warehouse environment isa must
  • Ability to lift moderate-weight objects.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy with numbers.
  • Good communicationskills and ability to work effectively in a small team or individually.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and procedures.
  • Good standard of computer literacy using email and warehouse system (Training will be provided)
  • Must have a Full clean driving licence and have a Counterbalance fork lift licence
