We are offering an exciting opportunity for an Apprentice Flexographic Printer to join our team. This role is ideal for someone looking to start a career in print production. You will learn how to operate advanced flexographic printing equipment, including a 10-colour narrow web servo-driven press, while working alongside experienced printers. Full training and support will be provided as you develop the skills required to become a qualified Flexographic Printer.
- Assist in preparing printing presses for production runs
- Learn to operate and monitor flexographic printing machines
- Support with maintaining inks and solvents according to job specifications
- Help identify and report printing issues or equipment faults
- Work towards achieving production speed and quality targets
- Follow all quality control and assurance procedures
- Maintain accurate production records
- Support continuous improvement in processes to reduce downtime and waste
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and communicate effectively within the team
- Follow all health and safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment
Requirements:
- A strong interest in print, engineering, or manufacturing
