The company has an opportunity for an experienced Flexographic Printer at our site in Boston.
Position Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Shift Pattern: 22.00 – 6.00 Sunday to Thursday
A flexographic Printer job requires you to manage flexographic printing machines such as a 10 colour narrow web servo-driven flexographic press. You usually prepare the press for printing and troubleshoot any issues during printing. Monitor printing processes of presses to maintain specified operating levels and to detect malfunctions, adjusting as necessary. To ensure all printing tasks are carried out to high standards and that the standards are maintained.
To operate and maintain production speeds on your shift and setting times to targets and record/report in areas where this is not possible. To work constantly towards production improvements in methods, to eliminate potential quality problems and reduce downtime. To liaise with the production manager to achieve best possible machine utilisation with minimum wastage, while ensuring excellent quality, at best possible delivery dates. To follow all aspects of Quality Control and Quality Assurance in the Print Department and ensure accurate records are maintained. Ability to operate or to quickly learn to operate various printing machines and related software. Experience in Flexographic Printing ideally within.
