We’re recruiting an experienced Probation Officer to join the team at HMP Downview, Sutton, working specifically with female service users. This is a full-time temporary role (37 hours per week) for 26 weeks, starting as soon as possible. You’ll play a key role in supporting rehabilitation, delivering assessments, managing risk, and contributing to sentence planning within a women’s prison environment. This is an excellent opportunity to make a real impact in a specialist setting.
Pay: £22.10 per hour PAYE
Location: HMP Downview, Sutton (No travel or overtime required)
Requirements:
- Experience or interest in working with female service users
- Ability to work within a prison environment as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Must have or undergo HMPPS Enhanced Level 2 vetting to undertake this role
