Job Description:

Reflections Nursery & Forest School in Worthing is recruiting for a Forest School Leader to join our team of highly skilled educators.

The position will involve working across all age groups in the nursery forest school, supervising and assisting with a group of up to 12 children aged 3 – 5 years. The group travel by minibus to a local woodland where we have a base camp and fire square.

Working hours: 40hrs per week Monday to Friday, year-round.

Qualifications:

  • Level 3 Certificate for Forest School Leaders, accredited by the Forest School Association (FSA), or a similar recognized body

Reflections Nursery and Forest School is set in two buildings – a lovely Regency building and a gothic Tudor-style building, both on three floors with loads of space, lots of light and huge gardens. Duties:

  • Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5
  • Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
  • Observe and assess children\’s development, identifying any areas of concern
  • Collaborate with parents and other staff members to support children\’s individual needs
  • Maintain accurate records of children\’s progress and development
  • Ensure the nursery is clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of all children
