Reflections Nursery and Forest School are looking for Qualified Early Years Educators and Nursery Practitioners to join our team. Reflections Nursery and Forest School is set in two buildings – a lovely Regency building and a gothic Tudor-style building, both on three floors with loads of space, lots of light and huge gardens. Our vision is to create a place that values caring, respectful relationships and makes the voice of the child heard.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Level 2 Early Years Educator qualification (or other full and relevant Early Years qualification)
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine love for working with children
  • Previous experience working in a nursery or childcare setting
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations and legislation governing childcare (e.g., Safeguarding)
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team

Duties

  • Provide high-quality care and education to children aged 0-5
  • Create a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
  • Observe and assess children's development, identifying any areas of concern
  • Collaborate with parents and other staff members to support children's individual needs
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development
  • Ensure the nursery is clean, organized, and well-maintained at all times
  • Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure the well-being of all children
