Reflections Community Support are currently seeking a senior care assistants to start immediately. Reflections are based right in the heart of the Guiseley - providing domiciliary care in Otley, Yeadon and Guiseley.

Senior Carer Roles

  • Assist the Care Manager with the induction process, shadowing & supervision of new Carers.
  • Undertake client monitoring visits and reviews in line with Reflections policies and procedures to allow a streamlined, person-centered approach and for Care plans to be adapted according to the changing needs of clients.
  • Supervise and instruct carers, providing support and giving help and guidance according to policies and procedures.
  • Flexibility for changing needs of clients and the needs of the business is an essential quality.
  • Assist with bringing on new care packages to allow for the smooth running of the service. This will also involve writing \'person-centered\' care plans.
  • Assist in the delivery of team meeting training as and when requested by the Manager.
  • Respect and protect all confidential and commercially sensitive information.
  • Attend all mandatory training days/courses as and when required and maintain and improve professional knowledge and competencies.
  • Completing fortnightly rotas, excellent IT knowledge needed
  • In depth knowledge of care planning software, including planning rosters
  • Excellent communication skills to meet new staff and service users

Shift Patterns

Wednesday 8am - 2pm - 3:30 - 22:00
Friday 8am - 2pm - 3:30 - 22:00

Saturday 8am - 2pm

Sunday 8am - 2pm - 3:30 - 22:00

Job requirements

  • In order to apply to this role you MUST have a minimum of a level 3 qualification in Adult Social Care or equivalent.
  • Have 3-5 years minimum care experience
  • Must currently be currently caring out similar roles
  • Must be a car driver and have access to your own car
