You will have relevant prior experience and strong knowledge of Investment Bonds, Pensions, Trusts and IHT Planning, alongside a strong interest in financial services. The successful candidate will either hold or be working towards a diploma qualification, have excellent communication skills and a commitment to maintaining high service standards. Strong GCSE and A-Level results are also essential, alongside a full driver’s licence and access to a vehicle. About the Role As a Paraplanner, you will work within the Wealth Management Support Team, reporting to the Compliance Manager and Head of Support. You will prepare Suitability Reports and process new and existing business in accordance with the firm’s policies and procedures, using the appropriate templates. Your responsibilities will include keeping the firm’s case management system up to date, ensuring business is conducted compliantly and efficiently, and ensuring all work complies with Firm policies, FCA regulations and best practice. You will cooperate with product providers, clients and industry professionals as required, prepare annual client reviews and support IFAs and members of staff with administrative duties. You will also use cash flow modelling tools where appropriate and undertake project-based work as required. The role will involve working closely with the Firm’s Compliance Manager and Money Laundering Reporting Officer, while always putting the interests of the client first.
