The Role

  • Installing and maintaining shop fittings, doors, and associated hardware
  • Carrying out repairs and modifications using hand and power tools
  • Reading and interpreting technical drawings and construction plans
  • Supporting painting and decorating tasks where required
  • Working safely and efficiently on a variety of projects
  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship and site organisation
  • Occasionally working independently with confidence and initiative

The Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate will be someone with a positive, can-do attitude and a willingness to get stuck in. Will ideally have experience within construction, fitting, maintenance, or a similar hands-on trade environment.

Essential

  • CSCS Card (minimum requirement)
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Confident using hand and power tools
  • Ability to read technical drawings
  • Strong awareness of health & safety
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Desirable but not essential

  • SSCS Card
  • Experience in joinery, decorating, masonry, plastering, or general building works
  • Previous fitting or construction experience
