We are recruiting Production Operatives on behalf of a manufacturer currently expanding its workforce. This position offers a varied, hands-on role in a busy production setting. Production Operatives will have the chance to gain new skills and progress over time.
Location: Outskirts of Newark-on-Trent
Pay: £12.71/hour
Hours: Monday-Friday 06:00-16:00 with Saturdays on a rota basis worked.
Successful production operatives will be placed across different areas of the operation depending on business needs.
Duties include:
- Preparing and handling materials for production processes
- Assembling products or components to specification
- Supporting the operation of manufacturing machinery (full training provided)
- Carrying out basic quality checks using measuring equipment
- Keeping workstations clean, organised, and safe
- Meeting output targets within set timeframes
- Working closely with colleagues to ensure smooth workflow
