Our client, a family-owned agricultural business with three sites across Lincolnshire, is seeking a Production/Assembly Operative for an immediate start. The role offers full-time hours until November 2024. They pride themselves on supplying agricultural equipment across Europe and are looking for an individual capable of working independently and as part of a well-established team at their site on the outskirts of Bourne.
Details:
- Salary: £12 per hour
- Working hours: Monday to Friday, 07:30 am to 16:30 pm (1-hour lunch break)
- Location: On-site with free parking; own transport required due to location
Responsibilities:
- Assembling Agricultural Seed Drills daily
- Maintaining a clean, safe, and tidy work environment daily
- Performing additional tasks as assigned by the Production Supervisor weekly
- Ensuring consistent product quality daily
- Unloading lorries using JCB540, forklift, and tractor, following safety procedures
- Supporting and covering other roles within the workshop and warehouse as needed
- Complying with training and safe operating procedures
Training Requirements:
Atlas training, including Manual Handling, SSOW compliance, and Risk Assessments, is desirable but covered during induction.
