Are you an organised, people-focused HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment? Do you enjoy balancing recruitment, employee engagement, payroll support and HR operations while making a real impact within a growing team? We are searching for an enthusiastic and proactive HR Officer to work closely with the General Manager. You will be supporting a dedicated team of over 150 employees.

Responsibilities

  • Providing first-class HR support and guidance to managers and employees
  • Managing end-to-end recruitment processes, from advertising vacancies to onboarding and inductions
  • Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems, including staff rotas and payroll reporting
  • Supporting the Accounts team with monthly payroll processes
  • Ensuring compliance with employment legislation, right-to-work checks and company policies
  • Assisting managers with employee relations matters including probation reviews, disciplinaries, grievances and absence management
  • Supporting HR initiatives, staff engagement activities and social events
  • Providing administrative support to the General Manager, including meeting coordination, minute taking and report preparation
  • Supporting training and development initiatives across the business
  • Helping drive employee engagement, wellbeing and retention

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 2 years' HR experience within a busy, fast-paced environment
  • CIPD Level 3 qualification or above
  • Previous experience using Fourth HRIS software or similar systems
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
  • A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a collaborative approach
  • The flexibility to occasionally support evenings or weekends when required
