We are searching for an enthusiastic and proactive HR Officer to work closely with the General Manager. You will be supporting a dedicated team of over 150 employees.
The role:
- As an HR Officer, you’ll play a key role in the day-to-day running of the HR function, supporting managers and employees across the business. Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing first-class HR support and guidance to managers and employees
- Managing end-to-end recruitment processes, from advertising vacancies to onboarding and inductions
- Maintaining accurate employee records and HR systems, including staff rotas and payroll reporting
- Supporting the Accounts team with monthly payroll processes
- Ensuring compliance with employment legislation, right-to-work checks and company policies
- Assisting managers with employee relations matters including probation reviews, disciplinaries, grievances and absence management
- Supporting HR initiatives, staff engagement activities and social events
- Providing administrative support to the General Manager, including meeting coordination, minute taking and report preparation
- Supporting training and development initiatives across the business
- Helping drive employee engagement, wellbeing and retention
Candidates must have:
- A minimum of 2 years’ HR experience within a busy, fast-paced environment
- CIPD Level 3 qualification or above
- Previous experience using Fourth HRIS software or similar systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practice
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset with a collaborative approach
- The flexibility to occasionally support evenings or weekends when required
Benefits include:
