They provide some of the largest firms in the UK with standard and bespoke items that are essential for the industry, dominating the exclusive market within the UK, relentless with research and development and continuous product improvement.

The role:

  • Purchase all components and materials using the in-house MRP software
  • Work closely with the warehouse to help manage goods-in and stores
  • Manage and procure recurring business contracts such as utilities, phones, and general maintenance/inspections
  • Manage day-to-day compliance with health and safety, and ISO9001 quality management by working with our external contractors

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Highly numerate
  • Able to carry out a broad range of tasks as and when required
  • Have a proven ability to develop relationships with suppliers and colleagues
  • Experienced using data management tools such as MRP
  • Commercial acumen, and understanding of supply and demand
  • Minimum of 2 years prior purchasing experience
