Our client has been in the Low Voltage Electrical Control Panel Industry for over 50 years and has gained a high reputation for its quality and customer service. All projects are bespoke, one-off schemes providing a variety of different types of wiring challenges for the successful candidates. This role is currently a temporary role with the potential to be a permanent position. The company values its employees and has a large proportion of their staff who have worked with them for over 20 years and they are now looking to support this by adding some new members to their team in Grantham in order to accommodate a projected increase in turnover.
My client will happily welcome applications from experienced candidates along with those who have recently obtained an Electrical Qualification from College.
The Panel Wirer will be responsible for the following:
- Working from schematics and layout drawings.
- Drilling/tapping and some basic mechanical work.
- Inserting components such as breakers, drives, inverters, etc.
- Wiring the panels from a set of schematics.
The candidate must possess the following skills to be considered for this role:
- Experience of panel building (other forms of electrical wiring experience would be considered).
- Be able to read and work from schematics and general arrangement drawings.
- Have an electrical qualification.
- Attention to detail and work ethic.
