Are you passionate about data protection, information governance and making a real difference in the public sector? We are searching for an experienced Data Protection Officer.

The Role

As our Deputy Data Protection Officer, you will be at the heart of the information governance framework, supporting the Data Protection Officer and leading on key areas of GDPR, Freedom of Information, Environmental Information Regulations and records management. You will work closely with colleagues across every service, elected Members and external partners, providing expert advice, developing policies, delivering training and ensuring compliance with an evolving legislative landscape.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the statutory responsibilities under Data Protection, Freedom of Information and other relevant legislation.
