The role:
- Purchase all components and materials using the in-house MRP software
- Work closely with the warehouse to help manage goods-in and stores
- Manage and procure recurring business contracts such as utilities, phones, and general maintenance/inspections
- Manage day-to-day compliance with health and safety, and ISO9001 quality management by working with our external contractors
The ideal candidate will be:
- Highly numerate
- Able to carry out a broad range of tasks as and when required
- Have a proven ability to develop relationships with suppliers and colleagues
- Experienced using data management tools such as MRP
- Commercial acumen, and understanding of supply and demand
- Minimum of 2 years prior purchasing experience
