The role:

  • Purchase all components and materials using the in-house MRP software
  • Work closely with the warehouse to help manage goods-in and stores
  • Manage and procure recurring business contracts such as utilities, phones, and general maintenance/inspections
  • Manage day-to-day compliance with health and safety, and ISO9001 quality management by working with our external contractors

The ideal candidate will be:

  • Highly numerate
  • Able to carry out a broad range of tasks as and when required
  • Have a proven ability to develop relationships with suppliers and colleagues
  • Experienced using data management tools such as MRP
  • Commercial acumen, and understanding of supply and demand
  • Minimum of 2 years prior purchasing experience
  • Experience of working in an ISO9001 manufacturing or engineering business is desirable
