We are looking for a skilled and motivated engineer to join a growing team, responsible for the installation, commissioning, take-over, additions and alterations of electronic fire and security systems across a defined geographical area. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who takes pride in delivering high-quality technical work and wants to develop their skills across a range of industry-leading systems. The Role You will be responsible for planning, installing and commissioning a variety of electronic fire and security systems, including: - Intruder detection systems - Access control systems - CCTV systems - Electronic fire safety systems - New system installations - Take-overs, additions and alterations to existing systems Working from designs, specifications and CAD drawings, you will ensure every installation meets the relevant standards, customer requirements and company expectations. Working closely with customers, contractors and colleagues, representing the company professionally at every stage of the project. The ideal candidate Will be: - - Experienced in the installation and/or servicing of electronic fire and security systems - Confident working independently or as part of a team - Able to understand and work from designs, specifications and CAD drawings - Organised, efficient and able to plan and manage their own workload - A strong communicator with a professional approach to customers and contractors - Comfortable adapting to new products, technologies and changing requirements - Familiar with basic electrical and electronic principles - Familiar with IT and Windows operating systems - Able to demonstrate a basic understanding of networking principles - Committed to high standards of Health & Safety and workmanship - Clean, tidy and professional in their approach Your Responsibilities Every day will bring something different.
