We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Building Surveyor to join our established client in the Newark area.
What you’ll be doing:
- Working as part of a small Building Surveying team that are involved in a variety of different sectors, including commercial, industrial, education, residential and heritage.
- Current areas of work include:
- Small project works, including specification writing, Schedules of work, preparing JCT Contracts and Contract Administration role.
- Condition reports.
- Party Wall Awards.
- Diagnosis and remedy of building defects.
- Pre-acquisition reports.
- Preparation of dilapidation reports.
- Negotiation of dilapidation claims.
What we’re looking for:
- A degree qualified, Chartered Building Surveyor.
- Experience in some, or all, of the above aspects of Building Surveying.
- Minimum 5 years experience.
- Ability to use AutoCAD desirable, but not essential.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite essential.
- GoReport software experience desirable, but not essential.
- Full driving license.
