We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Building Surveyor to join our established client in the Newark area.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Working as part of a small Building Surveying team that are involved in a variety of different sectors, including commercial, industrial, education, residential and heritage.
  • Current areas of work include:
  • Small project works, including specification writing, Schedules of work, preparing JCT Contracts and Contract Administration role.
  • Condition reports.
  • Party Wall Awards.
  • Diagnosis and remedy of building defects.
  • Pre-acquisition reports.
  • Preparation of dilapidation reports.
  • Negotiation of dilapidation claims.

What we’re looking for:

  • A degree qualified, Chartered Building Surveyor.
  • Experience in some, or all, of the above aspects of Building Surveying.
  • Minimum 5 years experience.
  • Ability to use AutoCAD desirable, but not essential.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite essential.
  • GoReport software experience desirable, but not essential.
  • Full driving license.
