My client, a well-established and highly regarded law firm, is seeking a Trusts and Probate Fee Earner to join its thriving Bourne office. This is an opportunity to take ownership of a busy caseload, work with a loyal client base, and be part of a supportive, professional environment where quality service is the priority.
The Role
In this full time role you will have the opportunity to join an experienced team offering a wide range of private client advice with the support of the most experienced team in the area behind you.
- Managing files end-to-end with confidence and autonomy
- Carrying out risk assessments and ensuring full compliance with AML regulations
- Conducting due diligence and source of funds checks
- Raising and responding to enquiries
- Identifying risks and clearly advising clients, lenders, and agents
- Supervising junior team members where appropriate
- Ensuring accurate billing
The ideal candidate will
- Have strong technical and client management skills
- Have 3 to 5 years Post-Qualified Experience as a Private Client Solicitor or Legal Executive
- Have a strong understanding of anti-money laundering requirements
- Have excellent communication skills, able to understand the client’s objectives and explain options in an accessible manner
- Be personable, compassionate and confident with good commercial awareness
- Undertake appropriate and continuing education to update and retain that knowledge, preferably holding or wish to work towards the STEP qualification
