Are you an ambitious Litigation Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive looking to join a prestigious and long-established law firm with an outstanding reputation across the Midlands and Lincolnshire? Our client, a highly respected Top 200 UK Law Firm and one of the oldest established law firms in the country, is seeking an experienced legal professional to join their thriving Personal and Business Dispute Resolution team in Boston.
This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and commercially minded litigator who enjoys managing a varied caseload, building strong client relationships, and contributing to the continued growth of a successful department.
The Role
Working within a collaborative and supportive environment, you will manage a broad range of Civil Litigation matters while playing a key role in business development and cross-department referrals. You’ll be encouraged to build your profile, develop client relationships, and help strengthen the firm’s already excellent reputation.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing a mixed caseload of Civil Litigation matters
- Generating new business opportunities and converting quotations into instructions
- Providing exceptional service to both new and existing clients
- Supporting the continued growth of the Personal and Business Dispute Resolution Department
- Working collaboratively across multiple offices and legal disciplines
- Achieving fee income targets and agreed objectives
- Maintaining accurate time recording and billing procedures
- Ensuring compliance with quality, risk and financial management procedures
- Keeping up to date with legal developments and maintaining professional knowledge
About You
To be considered for this role, you must:
- Be an experienced Litigation Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive
- Have proven experience managing a busy and varied caseload
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment and work effectively under pressure
- Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Be professional, proactive and highly organised
- Demonstrate a flexible and positive approach to work
Desirable Skills
While not essential, experience with the following would be advantageous:
- SOS Connect or other case management systems
- CIPHR or similar HR systems
