We're recruiting an Accounts Assistant for our client who's situated on the outskirts of Grantham. This is a full-time permanent position with a commencement of employment from early July. The location of the office provides easy commuting access from Newark, Grantham, Vale of Belvoir and the East of Nottingham; however, due to the location of the company, your own transport is essential. Free on-site parking, company pension and events are all part of the package, in addition to the starting salary of £27,000. Working hours are Monday to Friday 09:00 - 17:00.
To be considered for this role you must have current experience within a finance sector; hold strong attention to detail, a can-do attitude, and provide support to contribute towards a cohesive working environment.
Your duties shall include:
- Proficient working knowledge of Sage accounting software
- Credit control, including the raising of credit notes
- Familiarity with invoice finance, bank reconciliation, and daily posting of cash receipts
- Processing of purchase invoices, including entry of stock items into our Stock Control System, where applicable
- Petty cash reconciliation
- Credit card statement reconciliation
- Preparation of supplier payment runs
