Our high-value subscription products are trusted by leading financial institutions and corporate clients worldwide.
As a Key Account Manager for Reuters Breakingviews, you\’ll be responsible for managing and growing a portfolio of B2B accounts, driving new business opportunities, and maximizing the satisfaction and retention of both individual and enterprise clients. This is a consultative role, and would suit a seller that particularly enjoys understanding their clients\’ needs, who wants to deliver the most appropriate solutions to a varied base of clients whilst expanding Reuters Breakingviews\’ subscriber base. This is a quota-carrying role with a strong focus on relationship management, strategic account growth and achieving revenue targets.
About the Role
As Key Account Manager at Reuters Breakingviews , you will:
- Manage and grow a portfolio of B2B subscription accounts, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
- Identify and evaluate new market opportunities to expand the Reuters Breakingviews subscriber base.
- Develop and execute strategic account plans and sales strategies to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor to key decision-makers within client organizations.
- Collaborate with internal teams across Breakingviews and Reuters Professional to deliver seamless customer experiences.
- Accurately forecast revenue and provide regular pipeline and performance reporting.
- Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activity, and client needs to identify new sales and upsell opportunities.
- Negotiate and close contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
- Present complex information effectively, adapting communication style to suit various audiences.
- Contribute to the development of new principles, concepts, and strategies for the business unit.
About You
You\’re a fit for the role of Key Account Manager at Reuters Breakingviews if you have:

Demonstrable experience of selling B2B subscriptions or publishing products, ideally within media, publishing, or financial/insurance sectors.

Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales and revenue targets.
