This is a full-time position based in London (Canary Wharf) with hybrid working available.

Reuters Events are looking for a Sponsorship Sales Manager to sell tailored event sponsorship packages across our international portfolio of pharmaceutical and healthcare events. In this varied and lucrative role, you will partner with some of the world’s most renowned healthcare and pharmaceutical brands and sell a range of sponsorship packages on our thought leadership-led events.

About the Role

  • Work collaboratively with other executives across the Pharmaceuticals and Healthcare team to sell tailored sponsorship packages to a variety of global brands, with a particular focus on selling across events within the Healthcare portfolio.
  • Report to the Head of Sales for Healthcare and Pharma. As an individual contributor, you won’t have management responsibility and will drive revenue across the healthcare portfolio as lead seller.
  • Use your great command of the written word to gauge what our clients actually need, communicating value propositions tailored to their business goals.
  • Be curious around changes in business markets, enjoying learning how shifting market dynamics create challenges and opportunities for our clients.
  • Work closely and collaborate with our Conference Production team to establish the best audiences and maximize the success of our conferences and events.

About You

  • Demonstrable experience in the events industry, with experience of selling sponsorship packages, particularly in the Pharma or Healthcare industries.
  • The commercial acumen to spot opportunities and drive the future growth of the pharma and healthcare portfolios.
  • Excellent communication skills, comfortable representing the Reuters brand when engaging with other industry-leading businesses.
  • Demonstrable B2B sales and new business development experience, ideally in an events, conference-led or publishing setting.
  • A collaborative attitude, succeeding both individually and within a team-based environment.
  • The desire to progress and develop your skills further, with an excellent (uncapped!) commission scheme that rewards your achievements.
  • The ability to adapt to changes in markets and articulate potential solutions to a range of stakeholders over the phone, in person and on video calls.
