With a growing client base and a fast-paced, collaborative culture, we are seeking a commercially minded Legal Counsel to support our continued expansion.
The Role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Legal Counsel to join a dynamic team in a high-growth environment. The role will provide broad exposure across the business, including direct engagement with clients, senior stakeholders, and cross-functional teams. You will play a key role in supporting commercial operations, particularly in relation to e-commerce and technology-enabled services, while also advising on a range of general legal matters. This position offers strong development potential and visibility within the senior leadership team.
Key Responsibilities
- Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating a wide range of commercial contracts, including SaaS agreements, e-commerce platform agreements, supplier contracts, and NDAs
- Advising on legal issues relating to digital commerce, online/ retail sales models, and technology-enabled retail services
- Managing the contract lifecycle process and supporting the business on contract strategy and risk mitigation
- Providing generalist legal support across the organisation, including corporate, regulatory, and operational matters
- Supporting on intellectual property matters, including ownership, licensing, and protection of client / company assets (including AI-related outputs and tools)
- Supporting compliance with data protection and privacy laws, including GDPR, particularly in the context of customer data and online platforms
- Assisting with competition law considerations, including those relevant to online marketplaces and digital distribution models
- Partnering closely with sales, product, and operations teams to provide pragmatic, business-focused legal advice
- Liaising directly with clients on contractual and legal matters where required
- Instructing and managing external counsel where appropriate
