Refined Landscapes is growing, and we are looking for an experienced, motivated and skilled landscaping professional to join our team. We deliver high-end landscaping projects across Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire, combining quality craftsmanship, creative design and a genuinely forward-thinking approach to how landscaping should be done.

About the role

You will be working on premium landscaping and outdoor living projects, helping deliver beautiful, well-organised and professionally finished schemes for our clients. Depending on your experience, your role may include hands‑on landscaping, supporting the site team, or taking more responsibility for the daily running of a project. For Foreman-level candidates, this may include leading one site team and one live project at a time, managing daily site standards, client communication, team productivity, safety and quality control.

You may be involved in:

  • Patios, paving, porcelain, natural stone and block paving
  • Groundworks, excavation, sub‑base preparation and concrete works
  • Drainage, levels, setting out and build‑ups
  • Fencing, sleepers, turfing, planting and soft landscaping
  • Cutting, levelling, finishing and general hard landscaping
  • Reading drawings, plans and specifications
  • Keeping sites clean, safe, tidy and professionally presented
  • Working closely with the wider Refined Landscapes team
  • Supporting or leading others on site, depending on experience
  • Communicating professionally with clients and management where required

For candidates with the right leadership experience, there may also be responsibility for daily planning, task allocation, progress updates, snag prevention, team development and making sure each project is delivered to the Refined standard.

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Experienced in high-quality landscaping or driveway installation
  • Proud of their workmanship and attention to detail
  • Reliable, punctual and hardworking
  • Positive, respectful and professional on site
  • Comfortable working as part of a team
  • Able to work at pace without cutting corners
  • Confident with tools, levels, materials and site preparation
  • Willing to communicate clearly and take responsibility
  • Ambitious and interested in career progression

Foreman-level experience is not essential, but if you have experience leading a team, managing daily site progress or dealing with clients on site, we would be very interested in speaking with you.

We offer:

  • Company vehicle and fuel card provided where applicable for Foreman / lead roles
  • Long-term opportunity with a growing, ambitious landscaping company
  • Career progression into site leadership, project management, sales or design
  • Support from a dedicated back‑office and management team
  • High-quality projects with clients who value great workmanship
  • A positive, enthusiastic team culture
  • Quarterly bonus‑style review meetings with the management team
  • The chance to be part of an award‑winning, BALI‑accredited landscaping business
  • A company that genuinely wants good people to grow with it
