Refeyn Ltd are looking for a Supplier Quality Engineer to join our Operations team based in Oxford. You will join us on a full-time, permanent basis, and in return, you will receive a competitive salary starting from GBP41,000 per annum plus excellent company benefits.

The Supplier Quality Engineer role: We are seeking a proactive Supplier Quality Engineer to ensure materials, components, and services from our suppliers meet quality, regulatory, and performance standards. Working cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Consumables and Supply Chain, you will play a key role in supplier selection, qualification, performance management, and continuous improvement.
Key responsibilities as our Supplier Quality Engineer:
- Support supplier selection, evaluation, and onboarding
- Conduct supplier audits (UK and international) and drive development activities
- Monitor supplier performance, including QBRs and quality agreements
- Define and align Critical-to-Quality (CTQ) requirements, especially during NPI
- Lead root cause analysis and manage supplier CAPA processes
- Drive continuous improvement and prevent recurring quality issues
- Ensure compliance with standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, and ISO 14001
What we’re looking for in our Supplier Quality Engineer:
- Degree in Engineering, Quality, or related field
- Experience in manufacturing (optics or regulated industries preferred)
- Knowledge of ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 (ISO 13485 desirable)
- Skilled in problem-solving tools (8D, 5 Whys, Fishbone)
- Strong communication, negotiation, and supplier management skills
- Experience with audits and vendor quality performance measures
