About the Role
The Corporate Fundraiser will play a key role in securing income from corporate partners and businesses. This role will focus on identifying, developing, and managing relationships with corporate supporters to generate sustainable funding and build strategic partnerships aligned with the charity’s mission and objectives.
Successful candidates will also have the opportunity to establish and develop a corporate stewardship programme, while strengthening and expanding existing relationships with current partners. Key Responsibilities
Develop and implement a corporate fundraising strategy working towards income targets
Identify, research, and approach potential corporate partners and sponsorship opportunities.
Build, nurture, and manage strong relationships with existing and prospective corporate supporters, ensuring excellent stewardship and long‑term engagement.
Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches tailored to corporate audiences.
Negotiate and manage partnership agreements, ensuring mutual benefit and compliance with charity and legal standards.
Work collaboratively with the Trusts and Foundations Manager, Volunteer Coordinator, Programmes and Events Coordinator, and Director to develop impactful partnership materials and campaigns.
Track and report on income performance, supporter engagement, and partnership outcomes.
Represent the charity at corporate events, networking functions, and industry forums.
Maintain accurate and up‑to‑date records of corporate contacts, proposals, and communications, familiarising yourself with our platforms e.g. Salesforce.
Stewardship Strategy Development: Create and deliver a stewardship plan for corporate supporters with a focus on cultivating and maintaining long‑term relationships with corporate partners to ensure ongoing financial support and engagement for the organisation.
Skills and Experience
Experience in corporate fundraising with a proven track record of meeting income targets
Strong advocacy and communication skills
Highly articulate and an exceptional written and verbal communicator
Sensitive, professional, and able to manage relationships with care
Proven ability to build and maintain strong partnerships
Experience delivering compelling pitches to corporate teams, appropriately tailored to their audience
Experience building and managing external relationships
Ability to align business objectives with charitable goals
Commitment to upholding the charity’s values and mission
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work closely and collaboratively with the Director
Existing corporate contacts or networks
Experience working within a small charity fundraising team
