Referment is working with a global FinTech firm that provides cutting-edge financial data solutions to hedge funds, private equity firms, and asset managers. They’re looking to hire a Data Support Analyst with strong technical and analytical skills to join their expanding team.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with 2+ years’ experience in data support and monitoring who thrives in a client-facing role, enjoys problem-solving, and wants to work at the intersection of technology and financial data.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Monitoring and validating large sets of financial data, resolving issues such as missing, delayed, or duplicate records
  • Managing and troubleshooting the onboarding of new clients, including user setup, reference data workflows, and configuration tasks
  • Investigating and resolving data issues using SQL and advanced Excel
  • Communicating directly with data providers and clients to ensure timely and accurate data delivery
  • Submitting bug reports, collaborating with Development teams, and testing new features for data extraction and monitoring
  • Creating and maintaining user manuals, wiki articles, and knowledge-sharing resources
  • Working closely with project managers to support successful client implementations

What You’ll Bring

  • 2+ years’ experience in data monitoring, support, or operations
  • Strong technical skills: SQL scripting (MS SQL), RegEx, advanced Excel
  • Experience with Zendesk, Jira, Git (Git Flow), and TFS
  • Background in supporting financial data or FinTech applications
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills — able to liaise confidently with clients, data providers, and internal teams
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks under pressure
