Referment is working with a financial planning technology company whose advice engine is used by advisory firms, banks and wealth managers in the United Kingdom and beyond. The company is growing its UK presence, with a distributed team across Canada, the United States and the United Kingdom.
You would support sales and client engagement across the UK and EMEA, partnering closely with Sales, Product and client-facing teams. You make sure the platform is clearly and accurately represented to prospects and clients in the UK financial advice market, and you capture real-world feedback that shapes ongoing product development. The role suits someone with strong subject-matter expertise in UK financial planning, relevant early-career industry experience and the potential to grow into increasingly complex sales and strategic responsibilities.
The Role
- Support sales and client-facing engagements through product demonstrations, discovery participation and solution design assistance.
- Act as a cross-functional facilitator for RFP and RFI responses and client requests.
- Translate complex financial planning and technical concepts into clear, audience-appropriate explanations for advisers, paraplanners, business stakeholders and internal teams.
- Observe, document and continuously improve demonstration narratives based on internal and external feedback and evolving product capabilities.
- Build deep product and industry knowledge to contribute to product innovation and client satisfaction.
What We're Looking For
- Strong foundational understanding of UK financial planning concepts, including cashflow modelling, pension and ISA structures and FCA-regulated adviser workflows.
- Familiarity with UK regulatory frameworks, including the FCA's Consumer Duty, suitability requirements and the broader financial advice market structure.
- Curiosity, structure and analytical rigour in client and prospect interactions and cross-functional initiatives.
This is a remote role for candidates located in the United Kingdom. It could suit a senior paraplanner or financial adviser with cashflow experience and deep industry knowledge who wants to move into a client-facing, product-adjacent role.
