You’ll work closely with senior stakeholders across the organisation, providing practical compliance advice, supporting new initiatives and ensuring appropriate regulatory controls are in place.
The role offers a good level of autonomy and would suit someone who enjoys working in an environment where Compliance is expected to work alongside the business rather than operate purely as a control function.

- Supporting the development and implementation of new products, services and business initiatives.
- Monitoring compliance with relevant regulation, policies and internal controls.
- Identifying and investigating potential compliance issues.
- Interpreting regulatory requirements and translating these into practical guidance for the business.
- Working with teams across the organisation to ensure appropriate controls are in place.
- Developing and maintaining compliance policies and processes.
- Supporting wider regulatory governance and reporting.
- Keeping up to date with regulatory developments and communicating relevant changes.
- Delivering compliance guidance and training where required
- What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for an experienced compliance professional who has worked within an FCA-regulated lending environment.
- You’ll Ideally Have
- 4+ years’ experience within regulatory compliance, with strong knowledge of MCOB.
- Good knowledge of UK consumer lending regulation.
- Experience interpreting FCA rules and providing practical regulatory advice.
- Experience working with senior stakeholders and teams outside of Compliance.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- The confidence to work autonomously and manage competing priorities.
- Experience working in an environment where products, processes and regulatory requirements are continually evolving.
Experience within mortgages or secured lending would be particularly relevant, although we’re interested in speaking with candidates from the broader regulated lending market.
