Investment Operations Associate (098B6D3)

Referment is working with a technology-driven discretionary fund management business that serves UK financial advisers through a low-cost, evidence-based model portfolio service. This is a hands-on investment operations role rather than a standard investment position: you will implement, maintain and support the model portfolio service across a range of investment platforms, taking ownership early in a fast-paced, technology-led environment.

What You Will Do

• Run the day-to-day operation of discretionary model portfolios for financial advice firms.
• Design, improve and maintain investment operations processes and the tools that support them.
• Administer and monitor client portfolios, including cash management, rebalancing and ongoing oversight.
• Respond to adviser queries and support onboarding and the ongoing client relationship.
• Build and maintain effective relationships with platform partners.
• Apply regulatory and compliance requirements consistently in day-to-day work.
• Support the migration of new client assets in a high-growth setting.

What We Are Looking For

• Experience in investment operations, platform operations or a similar role within asset management, a DFM, fintech or a financial planning business.
• A solid understanding of model portfolio services and how they are implemented and maintained on investment platforms.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks accurately at pace.
• Confidence with data, systems and technology, and the ability to learn new tools quickly.
• Excellent communication skills across internal teams and external providers.
• A proactive, problem-solving mindset and ownership of tasks from start to finish.
