Referment is proud to be partnering with an exciting early‑stage AI business that is rethinking the future of work. The client is building intelligent technology that helps sales professionals focus on what matters most: genuine human connection. Their AI‑powered platform removes admin‑heavy busywork, supports smarter prospect research, and enables more meaningful, personalized outreach at scale. They’re growing fast and are looking for a talented Full Stack Developer to join them on the journey. The client values collaboration, so they require staff to be in their Oxford City Centre office 5 days per week.
This is a hands‑on role where you’ll work across the full product stack, from backend services and data modelling through to polished, user‑facing applications. You’ll be joining a small, highly collaborative team where your ideas matter, your work has a visible impact, and you’ll help shape both the product and the engineering culture from day one.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Building and maintaining full‑stack web applications using Node.js and React
- Designing and optimizing PostgreSQL databases, including schema design and migrations
- Deploying and managing containerised services on Azure (AKS / Azure Container Apps)
- Using GitHub Copilot as part of your day‑to‑day workflow, including agent‑mode tasks
- Collaborating on code reviews, sprint ceremonies, and technical discussions
- Turning product requirements into scalable, maintainable solutions alongside stakeholders
What We’re Looking For
- Strong commercial experience with Node.js (ideally with TypeScript)
- Solid React expertise with strong understanding of hooks, state management, and architecture
- Strong PostgreSQL knowledge including performance optimisation and query writing
- Experience deploying and managing applications in Azure
- Docker/containerisation experience, with Kubernetes or AKS as a bonus
- Confident use of GitHub Copilot and prompt‑driven development workflows
Nice to Have
- CI/CD pipeline experience (GitHub Actions / Azure DevOps)
- Infrastructure‑as‑Code experience, particularly Bicep
- PowerShell scripting experience
Why Join?
This is not a role where you’ll disappear into a narrow part of the stack. You’ll have real ownership, work closely with senior engineers, and help shape a product being used and improved in real time. The team values craftsmanship, practical problem‑solving, and using AI as a serious engineering advantage, not a gimmick. If you’re someone who enjoys building meaningful products in a fast‑moving environment, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact.
