The Role : As a Software Engineer, you’ll join a talented team of four developers, supporting key tools for position and risk management, conviction-building, post-trading analysis, and performance analysis. You’ll work closely with business stakeholders at all levels, providing solutions through the full SDLC process. Technologies and Platform : Core platform built with .NET (C#), SQL Server, and KDB. A WPF desktop for core functionality and a Python-based strategy platform for bespoke user solutions. Key Responsibilities : Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand the needs of CIOs and portfolio managers. Implement solutions across all SDLC phases, from design to maintenance. Create reusable components for the strategic platform. Ensure high-quality work through code reviews and technology development. Provide user support and effectively monitor the system. Extensive software engineering experience in the financial industry, preferably with exposure to capital markets. Strong C# skills and expertise in design patterns, architecture, data structures, multi-threading, and RESTful services. Proficiency in Python and creating Python APIs/libraries. Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Experience with relational databases and SDLC tools like Git and JIRA. Experience with WPF and WPF design patterns. Knowledge of equity trading and risk management.
