Referment is working with a London based hedge fund who are expanding into new asset classes and have an exciting new role available in their London technology team for a mid level DevOps Engineer. Working closely with the Head of Infrastructure and Lead Cloud Engineer, you will be responsible for building their next-gen cloud-native platform built on AWS and Kubernetes. You will be responsible for designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines, working closely with the development teams to build and maintain tooling whilst supporting the software development life cycle.
As such, the successful DevOps Engineer should have extensive experience with CI/CD systems such as Jenkins or TeamCity and experience with AWS and Kubernetes platforms.
Key Requirements- A bachelor's degree or higher in computer science/quantitative field
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD systems such as Jenkins, TeamCity
- Solid experience with observability tools such as Prometheus, ELK Stack etc
- Experience working with AWS or similar cloud platforms
- Hands on experience with Kubernetes
- Proficiency in Python or other programming/scripting languages
