Claims Broker - Delegated Authority and Facultative (A850809)

Referment is working with a specialist international insurance group whose broking operation gives intermediaries access to the London and Lloyd’s markets. The business handles tailored insurance solutions across professional, financial and corporate risks, supported by integrated broking and claims capabilities.

This role sits within the claims and facultative team and is responsible for progressing Delegated Authority and Facultative claims accurately through their lifecycle. You will combine technical London-market processing with regular communication across clients, local brokers, coverholders, loss adjusters and insurers.

The Role

• Process Delegated Authority and Facultative claims, monitoring progress and resolving issues throughout the claims lifecycle.
• Use ECF, CLASS and other relevant Lloyd’s-market systems to broker claims files into the London market.
• Respond to client enquiries and maintain professional correspondence with insurers, local brokers and other claims stakeholders.
• Reconcile paid claims against bordereaux and keep electronic records and archives accurate, current and compliant.
• Handle Bureau and XIS queries and deliver timely responses in line with agreed service standards.
• Provide technical support to colleagues and back-up broking assistance during busy periods.
• Work within internal policies, external regulation and statutory requirements.

What We're Looking For

• Practical knowledge of London-market claims processes and the confidence to work with ECF and CLASS.
• Experience handling insurance claims involving several external stakeholders.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical judgement and accurate record management.
• Clear written and verbal communication, with the organisation to manage competing enquiries and deadlines.
• A collaborative approach and willingness to share technical knowledge with colleagues.
