Referment is working with a high-growth, technology-led financial services firm that’s making serious waves in the energy trading space. We\'re on the hunt for an Application Support Manager to lead their global front-line support team — a critical role at the heart of their trading operations.

You\'ll be leading a 24/5 global support function that underpins front-to-back trading activity across energy, commodities, and financial markets.
The systems you’ll support are mission-critical: think real-time market data, order management, risk engines, and trading platforms.

Key elements of the role include, but is not limited to the following duties:
Leading a team of front-line analysts supporting business-critical trading applications globally
Handling high-priority incidents (P1/P2), ensuring rapid resolution and clear business communication
Monitoring Jira queues, alerts, and input streams to drive service performance
Collaborating closely with dev and infra teams to enhance system resilience and availability
Identifying repeated issues and driving root-cause resolution with an eye on uptime and operational excellence
Experience in the following is essential to be considered for the role:
Strong experience managing application support engineers in energy or commodities trading environments
Solid understanding of energy markets, trading platforms, market data feeds, and risk systems
Exceptional incident management, communication, and stakeholder handling skills
Experience Working In Regulated Environments And Understanding Compliance Requirements
