We are recruiting for an experienced PCB Assembler to join a growing manufacturing business.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on PCB Assembler with experience in mechanical and electronic assembly to work within a fast-paced engineering environment.
Key Responsibilities for the PCB Assembler
- Working with PCB's
- Soldering skills
- Assemble products to engineering specifications.
- Read and interpret engineering drawings, bills of materials and assembly instructions.
- Raise purchase requisitions and support parts management activities.
- Check incoming goods for accuracy, quantity and version control.
- Operate ERP systems to manage manufacturing orders and production documentation.
- Support spare parts orders, tooling setup and production equipment maintenance.
- The PCB Assembler will need to meet the following key requirements
- Previous experience as a PCB Assembler or similar manufacturing/engineering role.
- Ability to read engineering drawings and follow technical instructions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience working to production deadlines.
- Good communication skills and a team-focused approach.
- Computer literate, with barcode scanning experience desirable.
- Experience within electronics, PCB assembly.
- Knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
