As a Test Engineer, you'll play a key role in ensuring electronic assemblies and PCBAs meet the highest quality standards before reaching customers. The successful Test Engineer will work closely with production and engineering teams to support testing, diagnostics and process improvements across the site.
The Test Engineer role:
- Testing PCBAs, assemblies and finished electronic products
- Diagnosing faults down to component level
- Operating and maintaining test equipment and functional test systems
- Recording and analysing test data accurately
- Supporting troubleshooting activities across production
- Reading and interpreting schematics, drawings and technical documentation
- Supporting continuous improvement and NPI activities
- Maintaining high standards within the test area
