Site Fitters / Mechanical Fitters needed for a growing engineering business delivering installation projects across the UK. The role involves nationwide travel Monday-Friday, installing and assembling mechanical systems on customer sites. Accommodation is fully paid for, with travel arranged Monday mornings and return travel Friday. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys hands-on installation work, site-based projects and regular overtime opportunities.

Key responsibilities:

  • Mechanical installation and assembly on customer sites
  • Drilling, fixing and clamping equipment into position
  • Working from engineering drawings and installation layouts
  • Supporting site supervisors during installations
  • Ensuring work is completed safely and to site standards

Key requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Site Fitter, Mechanical Fitter or Installation Engineer
  • CSCS card essential
  • Comfortable working away Monday-Friday
  • Experience using hand and power tools on site
  • IPAF and PASMA advantageous
  • Previous site fitter experience preferred

Package:

  • £35,000-£40,000 basic salary
  • Regular overtime available paid at enhanced rates
  • Paid accommodation and expenses
  • Nationwide project work
