Fixed Term Maternity Cover 13 months

We're on the lookout for a Senior Quality Technician who thrives on solving problems, spotting the details others miss and making a real difference every day. In this hands-on role, you'll be at the heart of our quality team investigating issues, supporting production, maintaining the highest standards and helping to ensure we deliver quality our customers can rely on.

Whether you're looking for part-time hours with flexibility around the days you work, or you'd prefer full-time hours, we're happy to consider the working pattern that suits you.

What you'll receive:

  • Up to £18.15 per hour (depending on experience)
  • Work your way - choose 30 hours per week with flexibility around the days you work, or opt for full-time hours if that suits you better.
  • 25 days' holiday plus Bank Holidays (pro rata), including Christmas shutdown
  • Company pension (5% employee / 3% employer contributions)
  • Free on-site parking

What you'll be doing:

  • As part of their Quality team, you'll investigate product and process non-conformities
  • Support Root Cause Analysis and support effective corrective and preventive actions
  • Analyse quality data to identify trends and improvement opportunities
  • Support with internal and external audits
  • Work closely with Production, Engineering, Purchasing and Customer Service to resolve quality issues
  • Maintain quality documentation and ensure compliance with our Integrated Management System

What we're looking for:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to work confidently across multiple teams
  • Experience analysing data and identifying trends
  • Good Microsoft Excel skills

It would be great if you also have experience with:

  • Quality Engineering or a similar quality-focused role
  • ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems
  • Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
  • 8D problem solving
  • CAPA processes
  • Electronics manufacturing
