Our client based in Buckinghamshire is seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer to support a programme focused on legacy design investigation. The role involves assessing existing mechanical designs, identifying issues and performing root cause analysis.
Contract Details:
- Inside IR35 - £45-52.00ph DOE
- 9 month contract
- Hybrid working - 3 days on site in Buckinghamshire, 2 from home
Key Responsibilities:
- Root cause analysis on legacy mechanical designs
- Investigate mechanical issues
- Review and update existing engineering drawings and documentation
- Collaborate with wider team to understand design history and operational performance
- Prepare technical reports
Required Skills & Experience:
- Proven experience in mechanical design & analysis
- Experience with legacy design / investigation
- Strong background in rotating machinery/components, motors, generators is desirable
- Experienced with NX or CATIA
