ReeVR Talent are looking for an experienced Quality Inspector to join a growing manufacturing and engineering business. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail‑oriented Quality Inspector to play a key role in ensuring products, components and materials meet the highest quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. The successful Quality Inspector will support production, engineering and supply chain teams by carrying out inspections, identifying non‑conformances and helping to maintain compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities for the Quality Inspector:
- Perform Goods Inward Inspection of components and materials against engineering drawings, specifications, and contractual requirements.
- Inspect component parts and finished products using a range of measurement equipment and inspection techniques.
- Conduct release inspections prior to shipment to customers.
- Identify, record and manage non‑conformances, ensuring suspect material is appropriately segregated.
- Complete FAIR activities.
- Support calibration activities and monitor inspection equipment.
- Carry out random inspections of received goods and production kits.
- Liaise with engineering, planning, operations, stores and quality teams to resolve inspection-related queries.
- Work to daily inspection targets while maintaining high levels of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Provide support and guidance on quality-related matters across the business.
Key Requirements for the selected Quality Inspector:
- Previous experience as a Quality Inspector within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
- Strong inspection experience using standard measuring equipment.
- Experience identifying and reporting non‑conformances.
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Computer literate with experience using Microsoft Office applications.
Desirable Skills for the Quality Inspector:
- Experience using CMM and FARO measuring equipment.
- Experience inspecting components using jigs and fixtures.
