An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Automatic Optical Inspection (AOI) Operator to join a busy and fast-paced Quality Control team within a growing electronics manufacturer. This role is ideal for a proactive, detail-oriented individual committed to high-quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Program and operate AOI machines
- Inspect AOI scans and rectify non-conforming components
- Test PCB assemblies and report faults
- Carry out visual inspections against customer requirements and datasheets
- Accurately log failures within AOI/QC systems
- Escalate issues to the Team Leader when required
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of IPC standards, SMT & THT components
- Good IT skills and excellent attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work calmly under pressure
Working Hours:
37.25 hours per week over 4.5 days
Monday-Thursday: 7:30am-4:15pm
Friday: 8:00am-12:15pm
Last Friday of each month off
