We’re looking for an experienced General Manager to bring together and lead a multi-functional engineering and manufacturing operation, ensuring teams are aligned, performance is optimised and business objectives are delivered.

Working closely with department managers and senior leadership, you’ll take responsibility for overall operational performance, coordinating production, quality, engineering and supply chain to deliver customer commitments, maintain compliance and support business growth.

The Role

  • Business Performance: Monitor KPIs, drive continuous improvement and ensure operational plans support wider commercial and financial objectives.

  • Quality & Compliance: Oversee management systems, audit readiness, certification requirements and operational risk.

  • Customer & Programme Delivery: Ensure customer commitments are understood, delivery risks are managed and issues are escalated and resolved effectively.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Bring technical, operational and commercial teams together to improve decision-making and remove barriers to delivery.

  • People Development: Lead and develop department managers, establish clear accountability and strengthen the organisation’s leadership capability.
