The Role

As a Proposal Engineer, you will:

  • Support the development of aerospace modification solutions based on customer requirements.
  • Create technical work statements covering engineering activities, resources, materials, certification requirements, and project needs.
  • Develop cost estimates, pricing, schedules, and risk assessments.
  • Prepare clear and accurate proposals for internal review and customer presentation.
  • Support the transition of awarded projects into the delivery phase.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes and ways of working.
  • Occasionally travel domestically or internationally to support projects.

About You

You’re an experienced aerospace engineer who enjoys solving complex challenges, collaborating with different teams, and seeing projects progress from an initial idea into reality. We’re looking for someone with:

  • A degree in Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • 5 years experience within the aviation or aerospace industry.
  • Experience working on aerospace projects, modifications, or engineering solutions.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Excellent organisation skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.

Desirable experience:

  • Knowledge of aerospace certification requirements and regulatory standards.
