We are seeking a Junior Process Engineer to join a specialist engineering business operating within the water treatment sector. This Junior Process Engineer role is field-based, combining technical learning with commercial exposure from day one. You will work closely with consulting engineers to influence how water treatment solutions are designed into new building projects across London and the South East.
The Junior Process Engineer will be responsible for building relationships, developing technical understanding, and supporting early-stage specification work across a defined regional territory.
The Role
As a Junior Process Engineer, you will spend four days per week in the field, engaging with consultants and developing long-term professional relationships. The Junior Process Engineer will gradually take ownership of their own region and pipeline, becoming a trusted technical advisor within the built environment sector.
Key responsibilities for the Junior Process Engineer include:
- Visiting consulting engineers and building strong professional relationships
- Engaging at feasibility and design stage to influence specification decisions
- Supporting the specification of water treatment solutions into projects
- Delivering CPD presentations on key technical topics
- Working with internal technical teams to develop proposals and convert opportunities

We are looking for a Junior Process Engineer who is:
- Educated to degree level in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or a related engineering discipline
- Able to read and interpret technical drawings, process schematics and engineering documentation
- A strong communicator with confidence presenting to professional audiences
- Highly organised with excellent time management skills
- A full UK driving licence holder willing to travel extensively
- Based in or able to cover London and the South East region
