An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Sheet Metal Fabricator to join a highly respected and long-established architectural metalwork business with over 80 years of industry heritage. Renowned for delivering exceptional craftsmanship and precision engineering, the company has contributed to some of London's most iconic and prestigious buildings, producing bespoke architectural metalwork solutions for landmark projects across the capital and beyond. Due to continued growth and a strong order book, they are now looking to strengthen their workshop team with a skilled and motivated Sheet Metal Fabricator.

The Role as a Sheet Metal Fabricator:

  • Working within a busy fabrication workshop, you will be responsible for producing high-quality sheet metal components and assemblies to exacting standards.
  • You will work from technical drawings and collaborate closely with the wider manufacturing team to ensure projects are delivered on time and to specification.

Key Responsibilities of a Sheet Metal Fabricator:

  • Fabricate sheet metal components and assemblies from engineering drawings.
  • Operate CNC Brake Press machinery.
  • Operate Guillotine equipment.
  • Carry out TIG and MIG welding activities.
  • Interpret and work accurately from technical and fabrication drawings.
  • Ensure all work meets required quality standards.
  • Support the delivery of projects to agreed deadlines.
  • Maintain a safe and organised working environment.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues across the workshop and production teams.

About You:

  • To be successful in this role, you should have previous experience as a Sheet Metal Fabricator.
  • Experience operating CNC Brake Press machinery.
  • Experience using Guillotine equipment.
  • TIG and MIG welding experience.
  • The ability to read and interpret technical engineering drawings.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • A reliable, organised and proactive approach to work.
  • Good communication skills and a positive team-focused attitude.
